Waltraud Meier's Isolde is a personal favourite of mine. I saw her in Heiner Müller's production of Tristan und Isolde in Bayreuth in 1997. It was a performance I will never forget. This video is from the Heiner Müller Tristan in Bayreuth. It is the ending of the opera - Liebestod.
